We all know about the special 'bat phone' that our favorite guitar god uses to keep you informed about the local happenings - if he cut his hair, all about the new tires on the van - or to ask you for help setting the time on his VCR ;)

Oh, and most importantly to spill the beans about upcoming gigs!

Now be honest, how many times have you gotten a surprise call to ask about things like:

"Good hair care products that will maintain the 'do' in the face of a category 5 guitar solo"

"What to do when a dog eats a package containing 250 guitar picks"

or

"How can I keep my favorite Jeans going for another year"


All I can say is I'm very glad Mike is getting all the expert advice he needs :)

How've you been? I'm hoping that someone is correct about an upcoming show date and we can both go! I'd love to rock with you again! I've been pretty free all summer, but now that school is starting.......there will probably be a Friday show and I won't be able to go! boo hoo! Here's hoping for a Saturday night!

Not sure where to post this. But last night I happened to be at a Don Henley concert in San Jacinto, CA and there was Crawdaddy up on the big stage playing bass guitar. Made me realize how small and tight this diamond circle is. So sweet to see him holding down the fort. At least we know why those Knobs ain't been playing of late. Can't play without a bass guitarist...who is otherwise engaged with Don Henley this summer. Thanks to Athena and Relic for letting me know last time I saw Don Henley that Crawdaddy had the bass gig too. :woot2:

I missed the deadline to enter, but I am hoping that The Dirty Knobs will make a return to The Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, CA down here in San Diego! I know they have played here before, but I was not old enough to go at that point... but now I am! :nod:
