I want to say THANK YOU!!!! to the The Knobs for a great weekend of music. It was amazing and so worth the trip out from Houston. Even the freezing temperatures couldn't cool them down. They were HOT!

What a wonderful post!

I wanted to join in and express our thanks as well for a phenomenal weekend of great Rock and Roll.

Cozy's and Maverick's both rolled out the welcome mat, and the assembled music lovers took full advantage!

Mike pointed out that it had been about 9 Months since the last gig - It has been along time and as the gigs were approaching I fully realized how much I had missed seeing and hearing these guys play. It was like a warm musical hug from family!

The outpouring of love for Warren Zevon at Maverick's brought tears of joy to my eyes, and I don't think I was the only one. When musicians get together to play and have fun it is a wonderful thing in every way. When they also join to celebrate one of their own, and in the spirit of supporting a worthy cause, it only gets better.

Odd that all too often it takes a loss to cause us to focus on what we once had, and what we have now lost. Its that old saying "You don't know what you have till its gone" and it is far too true.

It was an enchanting weekend to be sure - out among the streets and rolling hills of California. The golden state, golden guitars, and golden hearts of all kinds came together in celebration.

Cherish and celebrate music and love with reckless abandon.

To all our friends with which we sang and danced, to all the artists who moved our hearts, to the stage hands who worked tirelessly (and even made time to chat and joke with us),

Thank you for filling our hearts with love and our spirits with song, and for sharing of yourselves and for doing those things you do- always going the extra mile.

Mikey's got himself a Rock and Roll band! Hell yes!

WOW! What a great weekend of music is right!! Steve and I had a fabulous time! Thank you Mike, Matt, Lance and Jason!! You guys were so good!! I Loved every minute of it.:heart: I would leave Chicago any day to hear you play.

The tribute to Warren Zevon was really special. He wrote some incredible music. Awesome show!
